Plugged

One move that carries the whole brand

Plugged is a young digital agency covering web, apps and brand work. The identity needed to feel as direct as their promise: connect a client to a digital solution, fast. I designed the identity around a plug icon whose cable resolves into the letter P — one move that carries the name, the offer and the personality. A strict black-and-white system keeps the mark doing the talking, with stationery, app interface touches and social assets built from the same reduction. The result is an identity that scales from favicon to pitch deck without decoration — a young agency that looks like it already knows exactly what it does.

Challenge

Plugged is a young digital agency covering web, apps and brand work. Its identity needed to feel as direct as the way the team works — and to hold up next to established studios without pretending to be one.

Approach

I built a system with a mark that reads instantly at small sizes and a set of applications a small team can run themselves, without a designer in the loop for every asset.

Outcome

Plugged is still trading under the name and core plug idea nine years after the 2017 identity. The system has outlived the agency's original offer and now supports a broader practice spanning AI, product, brand, web and production.
