Designed for recognition in the refrigerated aisle
Guru Gyoza is a prepared-food brand sold in compact refrigerated packs. The packaging needed to make the product visible, keep preparation cues clear and create enough distinction between variants at the speed of a supermarket decision.
Working in collaboration with Rufus, I developed the identity and label system around a compact crossed-gyoza mark, a neutral illustrated pattern and colour accents for flavour recognition. The layout balances brand, product visibility and practical information within a very limited surface.
The result is a packaging system designed for the conditions in which it is actually seen: stacked closely, viewed quickly and compared beside other prepared foods. Shelf photography confirms how the system holds together beyond the mockup.
